Sinossi

Master thief Lupin and his buddy Jigen have just pulled off another job and escaped from the bad guys once again, when it takes them to Europe to look for the next treasure. As they are leisurely driving down a road, a young woman is chased by some bad men in a car. Lupin rescues her and falls in love with her. Her name is Clarisse and she is also kidnapped again shortly afterwards. She is held by the Count of Cagliostro in his castle because he wants to marry her. But the Count is a counterfeiter who distributes his fake currency all over the world and only wants to marry Clarisse to get his hands on the Cagliostro treasure. Lupin sets out to save Clarisse and goes to the castle, where the big showdown ensues …
Annotation:
The versions released in the 1980s in cinemas and on VHS under the name “Hardyman” are heavily edited (approx. 16 minutes missing) and distorted by the dubbing. An uncut re-release with new synchro was made on 03.04.2006.
