HAL FILM MAKER Inc. was a Japanese animation studio founded on August 11, 1993, by former Toei Animation employees.
In 2003, TYO acquired 85 % of the shares, and HAL FILM MAKER Inc. became a subsidiary of Yumeta Company in 2006.
As a result of the merger with Yumeta Company on July 1, 2009, HAL FILM MAKER Inc. was dissolved, and Yumeta Company was renamed TYO Animations.
