Restaurant to Another World (2017)

“Restaurant to Another World” is about the restaurant Youshoku no Nekoya, which is located in the first basement of a shopping district near an office complex. Although normally only simple business people dine in the restaurant, it also has a secret: every Saturday, when the restaurant is actually closed, Nekoya is teeming with very special customers. For the office workers, this makes it a familiar place with familiar dishes, but for the customers who stop in on Saturday, it is nothing more than a cuisine they have never seen or heard of.

»Restaurant to Another World« handelt von dem Restaurant Youshoku no Nekoya, das im ersten Untergeschoss eines Einkaufsviertels in der Nähe eines Bürokomplexes liegt. Obwohl normalerweise nur einfache Geschäftsleute in dem Restaurant speisen, besitzt es aber auch ein Geheimnis: Jeden Samstag, an dem das Restaurant eigentlich geschlossen ist, wimmelt es in Nekoya nur so von ganz besonderen Kunden – Kunden aus einer anderen Welt; unter ihnen Elfen, Drachen, Feen und weitere. Für die Büroangestellten ist es damit ein vertrauter Ort mit vertrauten Gerichten, doch für die Kunden, die am Samstag einkehren, ist es nichts weiter als eine Küche, von der sie noch nie etwas gesehen oder gehört haben.
