Descrizione

All’Accademia Privata Hyakkaou per figli privilegiati, la vita viene determinata da uno strano programma di studio. I più ricchi tra i ricchi non si distinguono per forza muscolare o intelligenza – no, la loro carriera regge o cade a seconda di quanto bravi siano nel valutare e manipolare il prossimo. E allora, perché non impostare tutta le materie come un gioco d’azzardo? Mentre i vincitori alla accademia privata di Hyakkaou vivono da re, i perdenti vengono messi sotto torchio. Yumeko Jabami, nuova a scuola, ha scelto come obiettivo dimostrare ai pseudo capi della scuola cosa vuol dire mettere poste alte.
At the private Hyakkaou Academy for privileged sons and daughters, life is determined by a unique curriculum. The rich among the rich are not distinguished by muscular strength or intelligence – no, their careers stand or fall on who can better estimate and manipulate their counterparts. Hence, why not base the entire subject on gambling? While the winners at Hyakkaou Private Academy live like kings and queens, the losers are put through the grinder. However, Yumeko Jabami, as a newcomer to the school, has made it her goal to show the wannabe bosses what it really means to play with high stakes.
An der Hyakkaou-Privatakademie für privilegierte Söhne und Töchter bestimmt ein eigenartiger Lehrplan das Leben. Die Reichen unter den Reichen zeichnen sich nämlich nicht durch Muskelkraft oder Intelligenz aus ‒ nein, ihre Karriere steht und fällt damit, wer sein Gegenüber besser einschätzen und manipulieren kann. Warum also nicht den ganzen Unterrichtsstoff auf Glücksspiele auslegen? Während die Gewinner an der Hyakkaou-Privatakademie also ein Leben wie Könige führen, werden die Verlierer kräftig in die Mangel genommen. Yumeko Jabami, als Neue an der Schule, hat es sich allerdings zum Ziel gesetzt, den Möchtegern-Bossen zu zeigen, was es wirklich bedeutet, hoch zu pokern.
