Hugtto! Precure (2018)

As Hana Nono’s first day at her new school in Hagukumi City approaches, the thirteen-year-old girl decides to be different from now on. She no longer wants to be seen as a childish klutz but to show her more mature, reliable side. Unfortunately, this plan backfires, and the long-awaited first day of school ends in chaos. But Hana hardly has time to be sad because that very night, a baby suddenly falls from the sky – right onto her balcony!

At first, she is quite confused, but she quickly becomes enamoured by the little creature and gives it the name Hug-tan. The baby is accompanied by the talking hamster Harry Hariham, who doesn’t like Hana at all. However, he changes his mind when the town is attacked by a giant monster shortly after, and Hana does everything to protect Hug-tan. This awakens in her the power to transform into the legendary heroine Cure Yell and put the monster to flight.

After the battle, Hana learns that the Criasu Corporation is responsible for the attack. The organisation sends its helpers from the future to Hana’s time to steal Mirai Crystals, magical energy sources. Hug-tan and Hana both possess such a crystal, and their task is to protect its power. They are supported by Saaya Yakushiji (Cure Ange) and Homare Kagayaki (Cure Étoile) and later by Emiru Aisaki (Cure Macherie) and Lulu (Cure Amour). Together they form the Hugtto PreCure Team to protect the future of the world.

Als Hana Nonos erster Tag an ihrer neuen Schule in Hagukumi City bevorsteht, nimmt sich das dreizehnjährige Mädchen fest vor, dass von nun an alles anders werden soll. Sie möchte nicht länger als kindlicher Tollpatsch gelten, sondern sich von ihrer reiferen, verlässlichen Seite zeigen. Leider geht dieser Plan nach hinten los und der langersehnte erste Schultag endet im Chaos. Doch Hana hat kaum Zeit, traurig zu sein, denn noch in derselben Nacht fällt plötzlich ein Baby vom Himmel – direkt auf ihren Balkon!

Zunächst ist sie ziemlich verwirrt, aber sie schließt das kleine Wesen trotzdem schnell ins Herz und gibt ihm den Namen Hug-tan. Das Baby wird vom sprechenden Hamster Harry Hariham begleitet, der Hana anfangs überhaupt nicht leiden kann. Allerdings ändert er seine Meinung, als die Stadt wenig später von einem riesigen Monster angegriffen wird und Hana alles tut, um Hug-tan zu beschützen. Dadurch erwacht in ihr die Macht, sich in die legendäre Heldin Cure Yell zu verwandeln und das Monster in die Flucht zu schlagen.

Nach dem Kampf erfährt Hana, dass die Criasu Corporation für den Angriff verantwortlich ist. Die Organisation schickt ihre Helfer aus der Zukunft in Hanas Zeit, um Mirai Crystals, magische Energiequellen, zu stehlen. Hug-tan und Hana besitzen beide einen solchen Kristall und ihre Aufgabe ist es, seine Macht zu beschützen. Unterstützung erhalten sie von Saaya Yakushiji (Cure Ange) und Homare Kagayaki (Cure Étoile) sowie später von Emiru Aisaki (Cure Macherie) und Lulu (Cure Amour). Gemeinsam bilden sie das Hugtto PreCure Team, um die Zukunft der Welt zu beschützen.
