A young man is sitting at his PC and has just struggled through the last chapter of an unbearably long web novel. How could he possibly have made it to the end? The plot is illogical, the villains are idiots, and all the women immediately fall in love with the hero, even though he is unspeakably arrogant! “Stupid author, stupid novel!” – In a forum, he pulls at the fans who praised the novel and enticed him to read this rubbish. The reaction on social media is an immediate and fierce shitstorm, and in his excitement, he chokes on a Dumpling …

When he regains consciousness, he finds himself in a strange place, and a holographic panel appears in front of him, explaining that he is now in the novel to improve the story! However, he is not the main character Luo Bing He, but Shen Qing Qiu, a villain! Luo Bing He is just 14 years old and a disciple of Shen Qing Qiu in the Heaven’s Sky magic cultivation sect. Luo Bing is very talented and a martial arts genius, and thus, he attracts the attention of Shen Qing Qiu’s favourite disciple, Ying Ning Ning. In the original novel, Shen Qing Qiu could not stand this and, from then on, took every opportunity to put obstacles in his way and bully him in every possible way. In the end, Luo Bing naturally takes revenge on Shen Qing Qiu and ends up in a cucumber pot – an end that he must prevent at all costs, but that is not so easy!

Although Shen Qing Qiu had just ordered another beating for his young pupil, the latter still looked up to his master full of adoration. To make matters worse, the reincarnated Shen Qing Qiu finds his student downright likeable, although he is not allowed to show this under any circumstances because, as soon as he does something that does not match his character profile, he receives a system warning! As punishment, points are deducted from his score, and if he runs out of points, it means immediate and final death! Conversely, he can earn extra points, and when he reaches a certain level of points, he has access to his character profile.

Die Handlung des Romans ist unlogisch, die Schurken sind Idioten und alle Frauen verlieben sich sofort in den Helden der Geschichte, obwohl der unsäglich arrogant ist! »Dummer Autor, blöder Roman!« – In einem Forum zieht er über die Fans her, die den Roman lobten und ihn dazu verführten, diesen Schund zu lesen. Die Reaktion in den sozialen Medien ist ein sofortiger und heftiger Shitstorm und vor lauter Aufregung verschluckt er sich an einem Dumpling …

Als er wieder zu sich kommt, befindet er sich an einem fremden Ort und vor ihm erscheint eine holographische Tafel, die ihm erklärt, das er sich nun in besagtem Roman befindet, damit er die Geschichte verbessern kann! Aber er ist nicht etwa Luo Bing He, der Held der Geschichte – nein, er ist Shen Qing Qiu, ein Bösewicht! Luo Bing He ist gerade 14 Jahre alt und in der magischen Kultivierungssekte Heaven’s Sky ein Schüler von Shen Qing Qiu. Luo Bing He ist sehr begabt und ein Kampfkunst-Genie, weshalb er die Aufmerksamkeit von Shen Qing Quis Lieblingsschülerin Ying Ning Ning auf sich zieht. Im ursprünglichen Roman konnte Shen Qing Qiu das nicht ertragen und nutzte fortan jede Gelegenheit, um ihm Steine in den Weg zu legen und auf jede erdenkliche Art zu mobben. Am Ende des Romans rächte sich Luo Bing He natürlich an Shen Qing Qiu und dieser endete in einem Gurkentopf – ein Ende, dass er um jeden Preis verhindern muss, doch das ist gar nicht so einfach!

Obwohl Shen Qing Qiu gerade wieder Prügel für seinen jungen Schüler angeordnet hatte, schaut dieser immer noch voller Verehrung zu seinem Meister auf. Zu allem Überfluss findet der reinkarnierte Shen Qing Qiu seinen Schüler auch noch geradezu sympathisch, doch das darf er keinesfalls zeigen, denn sobald er etwas tut, das nicht seinem Charakterprofil entspricht, bekommt er eine Systemwarnung! Ihm werden zur Strafe Punkte abgezogen und sollten ihm die Punkte ausgehen, bedeutet das den sofortigen und endgültigen Tod! Andererseits kann er sich Punkte dazuverdienen und wenn ein gewisser Punktestand erreicht ist, hat er Zugriff auf sein Charakterprofil.

Widerwillig versucht der neue Shen Qing Qiu nun sein eigenes Ende im Gurkentopf abzuwenden …
