Black Cat (2005)

Train Heartnet is a notorious assassin of Chronos, an organisation of contract killers that pretty much controls the entire world. Having the codename “Black Cat”, he is said to be as cold-blooded, fast and deadly as a cat. However, he is everything but happy with his current life. He realises this once more after meeting Saya, a young, pretty and brave Sweeper (bounty hunter). Through her influence Train begins to think for himself for the first time in his life: what does he want to do? Why should he kill people when he doesn’t even want to be a killer?

On his next mission, when he is supposed to eliminate another target of Chronos again, he … simply doesn’t. Shortly after this “incident” the leaders if the organisation call him in, as expected. He explains to them that he is finished with his senseless killings spree, which would have been his immediate death if it wasn’t for Creed, a traitor of Chronos. He is a lot more dangerous to the world right now, so Train’s elimination must wait for now!

But what does Creed want from Train anyway? Well … he wants him to be a part of his own plan: To create a perfect world! To achieve his goal, he is not afraid to kill Trains beloved ones, starting with the innocent Saya. Any sacrifice is fine with him if it means, that Train can go back to the way he was again. Will Train be able to stop him with Chronos breathing down his neck?

Train Heartnet ist einer der berüchtigsten Assassinen Chronos – einer Art Mafia-Organisation, die so ziemlich die gesamte Welt kontrolliert.

Er soll kein Herz besitzen und so schnell und tödlich sein, wie eine Katze; daher auch sein Codename »Black Cat«, Schwarze Katze. Train ist allerdings nicht wirklich glücklich mit seinem Leben, was er erst erkennt, als er auf Saya trifft. Saya – jung, hübsch, mutig und eine Sweeperin (Kopfgeldjägerin). Durch ihren Einfluss beginnt Train selbständig zu denken: Warum soll er töten, wenn er nicht töten will? Als er dann bei seinem nächsten Auftrag wieder jemanden eliminieren soll, es aber nicht tut, rufen ihn die Anführer der Organisation zu sich. Ihnen erklärt er, dass er mit dem sinnlosen Morden … Eigentlich wäre dies sein Todesurteil, doch er hatte nicht mit Creed gerechnet, einem Verräter von Chronos. Er ist um einiges gefährlicher für die Welt, sodass die Eliminierung Trains auf sich warten muss! Doch was will Creed überhaupt von Train? Nun, er will ihn für seine eigenen Pläne haben und mit ihm seine eigene Welt kreieren. Und er scheut auch nicht davor zurück, die unschuldige Saya zu töten, damit Train wieder so wird wie früher … Wird Train ihn davon abhalten können mit seiner Organisation im Nacken?

Sinopsis:
Train Heartnet es conocido como Black Cat por su rapidez de movimientos. Pertenece a una sociedad secreta llamada Chronos en la que es el Número Trece, un maestro con las armas y un frío e insensible asesino. Un día conoce a Saya, una cazarrecompensas que le enseña el valor de la vida humana y el arrepentimiento por toda la destrucción que provoca. Train abandonará la organización, aprenderá a amar y a cuidar de otras personas y comenzará un trepidante viaje junto a Saya, su compañero Sven y la misteriosa Eve.
