Haganai: A Round-Robin Story’s Ending Is Way Extreme (2012)

As the members of the neighbourhood club are once again just sitting around in the clubroom killing time, Kodaka suggests writing a continuation story together. Each person writes a page of a story, and the next person continues from where the previous one left off. The order is drawn by lot. As one might expect, however, everyone projects their personal ideas about themselves and the others into the story, and, in the case of Yozora and Sena, it was already clear in advance that they would use the text to play out their hostilities against each other. The result is a turbulent and, in its own way, very … unique story.

Weil die Mitglieder des Nachbarschaftsclubs mal wieder nur im Clubraum herumsitzen und die Zeit totschlagen, wird Kodakas Vorschlag aufgegriffen, zusammen eine Fortsetzungsgeschichte zu schreiben. Jeder schreibt eine Seite einer Erzählung und der nächste setzt an dem Punkt fort, wo der Vorgänger aufgehört hat. Die Reihenfolge wird ausgelost. Wie nicht anders zu erwarten, projizieren alle aber ihre persönlichen Vorstellungen von sich selbst und den anderen in die Geschichte hinein und bei Yozora und Sena war es ja schon im Vorfeld klar, dass sie den Text nutzen, um ihre Animositäten gegeneinander auszutragen. Heraus kommt eine turbulente und auf ihre Weise sehr … einzigartige Geschichte.
