Lezhin Comics is a brand and a web portal of the company Lezhin Entertainment.
The company was founded in April 2012 by Han Hee-Sung and Kwon Jung-Hyuk. However, the associated portal Lezhin Comics only went online in 2013. The headquarters are located in Seoul.
In December 2015, the English webtoon portal Lezhin Comics US was launched to present the previously purely Korean webtoons to a wider audience.
In February 2021, the company was acquired by KIDARISTUDIO, Inc. and transformed into a subsidiary, after Lezhin had already entered into a partnership the year before.
