Boku wird zusammen mit seiner Freundin Kunagisa Tomo, einem Computergenie mit Savant-Syndrom, auf die Privatinsel der exilierten Wirtschaftserbin Iria Akagami eingeladen, die Genies aus Japan zu ihrer Unterhaltung dort unterbringt. Nach einem Erdbeben wird die Künstlerin Ibuki Kanami enthauptet in ihrem Atelier aufgefunden und Boku begibt sich mit Kunagisa auf die Suche nach dem Mörder, der sich unter den 11 verbleibenden Personen befinden muss, da die Insel vom Festland abgeschnitten ist und Akagami Iria es bevorzugt, die Polizei nicht zu kontaktieren. Die Jagd hat begonnen!
