Legend of the Ancient Sword (2014)

Han Yunxi lives in a village protected by a magical barrier. The reason for this? A magical sword, the Sword of Burning Solitude. Yunxi’s mother, the village magician, is responsible for protecting the sword at all costs. But not even she is able to repel a devastating attack by masked warriors. Once there is no way out, she seals half of the sword’s powers in the body of her young son and sacrifices herself. The raiders flee without the sword, and young Yunxi is completely overwhelmed by his new powers. He ends up in the city of Tianyong, where his powers are sealed.

Eight years later, Yunxi, under the name of Baili Tusu, still fights against the demonic powers inside of him. The situation takes a turn for the worse when Feng Qingxue comes to the city in search of him – and because of her efforts to find him, the masked raiders take notice of him as well …

Han Yunxi lebt in einem Dorf, das von einer magischen Barriere umgeben ist. Grund hierfür ist ein magisches Schwert, das Sword of Burning Solitude. Yunxis Mutter ist als Dorfmagierin persönlich für den Schutz des überaus mächtigen Schwertes verantwortlich, doch auch sie ist nicht in der Lage, einen vernichtenden Angriff schwarz maskierte Angreifer zurückzuweisen. Als es keinen Ausweg mehr gibt, versiegelt sie einen Teil der Kräfte des Schwertes in ihrem Sohn und opfert sich. Die Angreifer flüchten ohne das Schwert, doch der kleine Yunxi ist mit der dämonischen Kraft in sich vollkommen überfordert. Als die Nachricht vom Verlust des Dorfes die Runde macht, nimmt ihn die magische Stadt Tianyong auf. Dort sorgt man auch für die Versiegelung der Kräfte.

8 Jahre später kämpft Yunxi, der zu seinem Schutz nun Baili Tusu heißt, immer noch mit den dämonischen Kräften und dem versiegelten Sword of Burning Solitude. Die Situation spitzt sich jedoch unerwartet dramatisch zu, als Feng Qingxue auf der Suche nach Yunxi nach Tianyong kommt – denn mit ihr werden auch die schwarz maskierten Angreifer auf Tusu aufmerksam …
