Gimbap and Onigiri (2026)

Hase Taiga has been working in the small restaurant “Tanomi” for several years. He used to be a promising runner on the university relay team, but after a disappointing sporting experience, he lost sight of his original path. As he tries to reorganise his everyday life, he slowly finds satisfaction in his work at the restaurant, where he takes on increasing responsibility from the owner.

At the same time, Park Rin, a student from South Korea, is struggling with her life in Japan. While she studies animation at university and is busy with her projects, she is suddenly faced with a new problem: she has to leave her student dormitory and has difficulty finding new accommodation. Exhausted and overwhelmed, she finally enters the restaurant, Tanomi, where she meets Taiga. A simple meal becomes the starting point of an unexpected connection between the two. But as their relationship grows, they are faced with decisions that could put their future and their time together to the test.
