Choe Eun-Yeong is a South Korean animation producer, episodic director, storyboard writer, animation director, and animator, as well as co-founder and former CEO of animation studio Science SARU.
She began her career in Japan in 2005 and has worked extensively with director Maasaki Yuasa since 2006. When he got an order from The Cartoon Network in February 2013 and had to start his own animation company, Yuasa came back to Choe, as they already had plans for their own studio. Thus, Science SARU was finally founded on February 4, 2013. Choe took on the management roles, while Masaaki Yuasa continued to be the main director.
However, on April 2, 2020, Choe took over sole management when Yuasa stepped down. Following TOHO’s acquisition of the studio in June 2024, Choe also stepped down as CEO of Science SARU in April 2025.
