Akimi Yoshida is a Japanese mangaka.

She won the 29th Shougakukan Manga Award in the Shoujo category for “Kawa yori mo nagaku yuruyaka ni” and “Kisshou Tennyo” in 1984 and the 47th Shougakukan Manga Award for “Yasha” in 2002. She won the Excellence Award for “Umimachi Diary” at the Japan Media Arts Festival in 2007. The manga was adapted as a film in 2016.
